We are FASHION ACTIVISTS, inspiring social and environmental change through well-crafted, sustainable clothing for kids aged newborn up to 12 years.
WE ENCOURAGE free thinking, a love of art and responsible production.
WE VALUE confidence, creativity, transparency and rebellion.
Born and bred in Melbourne culture, Anarkid is built on a solid foundation of style, understated cool and rebellion.
We grew up riding our bikes on the street until dusk, listening to Nirvana and the Pixies, and spending way to much time dreaming about being rock stars.
We care about the world we live in, and we believe we can have a positive impact on making it a better place. We encourage free thinking, a love of art and always a little touch of Anarchy.
Made by rebels for rebels.
If wearing our threads makes your kid a little mischievous, blame us.
And enjoy the chaos.
Sustainable Practices
India is a truly beautiful country. Steeped in a rich history of art, culture, craftsmanship and religious tolerance, the countryside is diverse and the people of India have a proud relaxed air about them, however with a population topping 1.2 billion and no government social services programs, it is impossible not to be deeply affected by the poverty evident almost everywhere you go. As well as committing to only manufacturing under fair trade terms and conditions, we have also decided to give back to the country that is giving so much to us. So we have commitment to a monthly contribution via India Development and Relief Fund. We encourage you to check out the link and to learn more about this amazing country.
Anarkid's Commitment
Anarkid is committed to fair trade practices throughout the entire manufacturing process. From responsible organic farming to fair treatment of the workers in our factory. We are proud that our factory follows strict ethical, moral and fair trade guidelines so that workers are looked after well, paid fair living wages, are free from discrimination and have the rights to enterprise bargaining. We visit the factory on a regular basis to ensure that high standards are met, both from a quality perspective, but most importantly one of humanity.
